Australia has some 20000 kilometres of coastline, hundreds of lakes and thousands of kilometres of rivers and many hundreds of different species of fish. Almost anywhere you go in Australia as long as you’re near the coast you can find some place good to fish. Tasmania is world class for trout fishing but every state has some excellent fresh water fishing locations if you are prepared to look. Although some of the southern states have had a rough trot of harsh weather (shocking drought) which has ruined a lot of great fishing locations.There are so many great fishing locations planning a fishing trip throughout Australia can be a lot of fun.
