Division Of Licensing Has Many Different Roles
In any given state, there are thousands of workers in the construction industry, many of which are licensed contractors. Many times, there are quite a few different licensing classifications for contractors, depending on what kind of work they are specializing in. The Division Of Licensing is responsible for testing contractors and issuing licenses. They can also investigate any complaints they receive against contractors and decide whether or not to revoke a contractor’s license, or to take further legal action if they feel it is necessary. The licensing division is responsible for many different things, not just the granting of licenses to contractors.
