Last summer, our kids’ baseball team had a picnic at one of the coach’s homes. it was a great time with so much reckless abandon it could have filled at least two other homes on the block. Coach Mike has the perfect house for these type of events: A large back yard; plenty of room in the kitchen and dining areas; and even his own popcorn machine. That one item alone saw more traffic than the expressway at rush hour. I don’t know how many pounds of popcorn were made, but with the way the empty boxes filled the outdoor waste bins to overflowing, they were quite a few.
