Worries, Warranties and Woes

I was traveling with a friend for a long weekend trip.  She decided to drive, because she wanted to use her brand new car.  That is a decision I will regret for a long time. I always keep my warranty in the glove box, just as my father and husband always do.  My friend was driving while I was the navigator, when the car suddenly just stopped.  By the time we had a vehicle assistance truck at the site, my friend discovered she wasn’t clear about what was covered, and her warranty wasn’t in the car.  And because she and her husband had more than one automobile, it meant she had multiple car warranties. We had to wait hours for her husband to get out of a meeting before he could tell her the coverage.
