Chess Sets: What would Percy the Camel say?
After a long hard life of service, isn’t it an outrage that over at ChessBaron Chess Sets store based in California they have a chess set made out of his old bones? Where has respect gone? How can they add the insult of a camel bone chess set to the injury of his death? What’s happened to common decency in this world?
On the other hand – could it be the best way to remember old Percy? Is it possible that he would welcome this way of remembering him? Perhaps he would have suggested it – perhaps he even did suggest it. I’d love it if someone chose to remember me by making use of my old bones by carving a chess set out of it. And if they made one side out of me and the other side out of my brothers bones, our current life long rivalry could continue indefinitely. Good old ChessBaron!
